Canoeing & Kayaking

The Rivers Spey, Findhorn, Feshie, Dee, Avon and Brown are all within close driving distance from Ardenbeg giving minimum travelling time and maximum paddling time.

Ardenbeg's efficient drying room copes brilliantly with the group wetsuits and clothing.

Our more popular trips include half-day family paddling along the River Spey and 4 Day expeditions from Aviemore to Spey Bay and the sea! Click this Spey River link to find out more about paddling the famous Salmon River Spey.

We can provide instruction and canoes for hire, if required. Please browse our active page for more details.

Our local rivers all provide their own challenges and different paddling conditions, with both classic paddling and fun playboating on the Spey and other rivers.

Some of our visitors include Tonbridge Canoe Club and Laburnam Canoe Club who all had a great time paddling (amongst other things!) the local rivers.

Ample area within Ardenbeg's grounds provides a secure administration and storage area for your boats. We will happily arrange drop off and pick up to and from your chosen area.

Members of visiting clubs have flown to Inverness and hired boats from us. Our arranged transport can meet you up at the Airport and reduce travelling time to just a couple of hours from Luton.

Many lochs and rivers exist close by where supervision and training can be undertaken, providing a safe learning environment for the newer paddler.

Ardenbeg Outdoor Centre can be the ideal base for all your outdoor activities.
