Mountain Leader RefresherA more demanding package designed to extend highland experience, and provide opportunity for potential Mountain Leaders to develop personal and practical skills and to be reminded of the ML requirements. Exact routes for this package are flexible to allow for previous experience of those attending. Visits to the Torridon Giants and more remote Munros are usual. Using Ardenbeg as a base, at least one night is spent in a bothy or a tent. Potential Mountain Leaders should try to have the majority of their own equipment. Suitable for potential leaders with mountain experience - perhaps those who did the training course a while ago and are looking to refresh before assessment.
